SOUTH GLENS FALLS — A fire late Monday has left the Common Roots Brewery Company heavily damaged.
The blaze was largely contained by 9:20 p.m. Multiple departments continued to beat down hotspots as flames remained visible and heavy smoke poured from the building at 58 Saratoga Ave.
The business was open and hosting a trivia night at the time, according to the business’s Facebook page.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
Owners Bert and Christian Weber said all patrons got out safely.
“We appreciate the efforts of our local fire responders and thank each of you for your thoughts and support,” said the Webers in a statement. “An additional update will be provided at the appropriate time.”
