Crews fighting a mobile home fire on Tucson’s Southside ran into dangerous conditions inside. Forcing them to call for help. It happened Sunday night near Nogales Highway and Valencia Road.
News 4 Tucson spoke to Tucson Fire Captain Garland Parris about the scary moments leading up to that call.
“We possibly have one child inside the residence still,” the radio dispatcher said.
Captain Parris along with other Tucson Firefighters responded to that call ready to take on any risks to save a life.
“When we hear that there could be kids involved or a kid involved. It’s game on and we’re ready to try to save them and to take the necessary risk to make a rescue,” Parris said.
